Noah's Ark

And God said unto Noah "Make thee an ark of gopher wood;" also
" And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt
thou bring into the Ark". Reputed to be the work of French prisoners
of war of the Napoleonic era but more likely to be a product of the
Baltic trade of the 19h century. This example has over 100 animals (not
all on display at any one time). It was one of the few toys deemed
suitable for play on a Sunday during Victorian times.
