The Normanby Room may be booked by outside groups and Societies both in normal Museum hours and in evenings. The Normanby Room seats up to 80 persons cinema style or can be arranged with tables for meetings. Hire rates are normally £15 per hour or part thereof during normal Museum opening hours and £20 per hour outside normal opening hours (in evenings time must also include an element for opening and closing the Museum by the Custodian who will be on hand by arrangement). The room is equipped with slide projector, audio-visual projector, visualiser and sound system. These can be hired for an additional fee of £5 per session. Contact the Hon. Refreshments can be arranged at an additional cost through the Museum tearoom if numbers are sufficiently large and provided sufficient notice is given. There are facilities for tea and coffee making for smaller groups. Please note the Museum does not have a drinks license.
